The last day of bootcamp

A recap of boot camp workouts for the past week: Day 24 - Fartlek Cardio and strength with some speedwork built in Day 25 - Walk the Plank Strength exercises with a lot of core work Day 26 - Cross Fit 3 sets of presses, squats, rowing; reps: 40/30/20 Day 27 - Soccer Unlike any other soccer game - 5 balls and two teams.  When a goal is scored, the winning team takes a victory lap around the field and the losing team does strength or cardio exercises. After each goal, the balls are placed in the center of the field.  Each team has to do exercises to get to the balls like lunge walk, tirerun, or crabwalk Day 28 - PT Test / Vet Workout 1 mile run followed by a leg intense vet workout including ab work and arms. This was a great week.  We were supposed to play Soccer on Monday, but because the grounds were a little too wet, so we switched to another workout.  My legs have been feeling a little less sore, so when we did stairs for a good po...

TriPathlon

I will start off with a recap of the past two weeks worth of boot camp workouts: Day 8 - Down N Dirty A field workout with 5 stations: Plank, Abs, Arms, Fire Hydrants, and Squats.  Day 9 - Hop, Skip, Jump A combination of strength and cardio moves focusing on jump rope Day 11  - Airborne Ranger Suicide sprints on varying degrees of elevation and various surfaces Day 12 - Terror Cell A field workout with a cardio/strength section and leg section.  The leg section used mini bands to add to our squats, lunges, etc... Day 15 - Burn Out An amazing workout led by Veda.  Each portion of the workout focuses on one body part and you burn it out. Between burn out sessions, we did cardio in the form of running Day 16 - Fartlik due to the rain; pull ups, ab work, dips, push ups, stairs Day 17 - Long Run Exactly what is says.  We did just about 4 miles in 45 minutes Day 18 - One Minute Workout  4 stations, each working a differ...
